Hey, y'all! This is Danni!

I'm a former actress who desperately searched for balance between paying the bills and working as a "struggling actress." Bosses who said they'd accommodate wouldn't. But Atlanta is an expensive city to live in, right? There HAD to be a way to support myself and still still have the time freedom to follow that passion for stage and screen.

Several life changes later (including marriage and a baby) resulted in a change of goals. I hated that my baby spent more time with the ladies at daycare than she did me. It broke my heart to hand her off to people who were really strangers to me! The desire to be a productive member of the family, helping to bring home the bacon, and still have time to raise up my child myself had to exist.

After losing my job with the State, I got a taste of being home with my baby. And LOVED it! I would have gotten back into acting if I could figure out how other moms handled being a mom and actress. But being at home also meant that I was no longer contributing to the household finances. So the search for the means to have time freedom, yet help pay the bills, became even more desperate.

Unknowingly, I stumbled on the right answer. It took seeing it several times and interviewing several different mentors to find the right key elements that worked.

Being home full-time while using my other passion as an educator (I'm also a former teacher) doing consumer education in partnerships has been a game changer. I'm in a true community of people who help me grow as a person, grow as an entrepreneur, and I get to help change other people's lives. I've replaced my part-time job as an office manager, and am working on setting my husband and I up to have a retirement that most people only dream of. True financial and time freedom.
